Please visit us online in #ASD if you wish to apply, and ensure you comply with the following guidelines:

> an example of a potential vHost may look like @i.heart.austnet
> the nickname must be registered a minimum of 30 days.
 a) the only exception to the above rule is if you already own a registered nickname older than 30 days,
 b) the other nickname(s) can be identified as the same user,
 c) the registered email address must match for all nicknames,
 d) ASD may wish to perform other checks at their discretion.
> no TLD's i.e austnet.org, google.com, etc.
 a) the only exception to the above rule is if you own a fully qualified domain,
 b) the domain will be checked by ASD to ensure validity of ownership,
 c) ASD may wish to perform other checks at their discretion i.e domain email reply verification.
> must contain at least one dot (.) character.
> must be all in lower-case.
> no colour/bold/underline, etc
> no special symbols i.e % & $ #, etc
> no crude, foul or offensive language allowed.
> limited to a maximum of 64 characters.
> must not be in use/already assigned to another user.
> an identical vHost may be issued to other registered nickname(s) providing;
 a) the other nickname(s) can be identified as the same user,
 b) the registered email address must match for all nicknames,
 c) ASD may wish to perform other checks at their discretion.
> may be changed once every 30 days.
> ASD reserve the right to deny a vHost at their discretion.
